BeeHired uses cookies for three main purposes:

These cookies are strictly necessary for the Service to function. They enable core features such as authentication, session management, security, and your saved preferences. Without these cookies, BeeHired cannot operate properly. These cookies cannot be disabled.
- Authentication tokens — keep you logged in across page loads (powered by Supabase Auth).
- CSRF protection — prevent cross-site request forgery attacks.
- Consent preference — remember your cookie choices so we don’t ask again.
Analytics cookies
These cookies help us understand how visitors use BeeHired — which pages are visited most, where users drop off, and how features are used. This data is aggregated and anonymized, and we use it to improve the product. Analytics cookies are only set if you accept them.
- Page view tracking — which pages are visited and in what sequence.
- Feature usage — which tools are used and how often.
- Performance monitoring — load times and error rates.
Marketing cookies
Marketing cookies are used to measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns and to show you relevant content on other platforms. These cookies are only set if you accept them.
- Conversion tracking — measure which campaigns lead to sign-ups.
- Retargeting — show BeeHired ads to people who have previously visited our site.
3. Third-party cookies
Some cookies on BeeHired are set by third-party services we use. These include:
- Clerk — authentication and user management.
- Stripe — payment processing. Stripe may set cookies during checkout to prevent fraud.
- Analytics providers — to measure usage (only with your consent).
Third-party cookies are governed by the privacy policies of those third parties, not by this Cookie Policy.
4. Managing your cookie preferences
When you first visit BeeHired, you will see a cookie consent banner with the following options:
- Accept all — enables essential, analytics, and marketing cookies.
- Only necessary — enables only essential cookies required for the Service to function.
You can change your preferences at any time by clearing your browser’s local storage for beehired.io, which will cause the consent banner to reappear on your next visit.
You can also manage cookies directly through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to refuse cookies, delete existing cookies, or be notified when new cookies are set. Please note that disabling cookies may affect the functionality of BeeHired.
5. Cookie duration
Cookies may be session cookies (deleted when you close your browser) or persistent cookies (stored until they expire or you delete them). Authentication cookies typically expire after 7 days of inactivity. Your consent preference is stored in local storage indefinitely until you clear it.
6. Do Not Track
Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” (DNT) setting. Currently, there is no industry-standard response to DNT signals, and BeeHired does not respond to DNT signals differently from other requests. You can use the consent controls described above to limit non-essential cookies.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in technology, regulation, or our practices. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, notify you through the Service.
