How headhunter matching works

BeeHired matches job seekers with recruiters and recruitment agencies that cover their target roles and locations. Learn how matches are chosen and how to contact them.

Updated October 26, 2026

Short answer

BeeHired matches you with recruiters and recruitment agencies whose specialties and coverage fit the target roles and cities in your profile. New matches are released over time, and Pro members can see contact details and reach out directly.

How matches are chosen

  • Location: recruiters and agencies that cover the cities and country you're targeting rank higher.
  • Role fit: their specialties are compared with the job titles in your profile.
  • Profile quality: recruiters with complete, verifiable details rank higher. Agencies approved by a national licensing authority are marked as such.

Keep your target roles and cities up to date in your profile; matches follow them.

How often new matches appear

Matches are released gradually rather than all at once, so you can follow up properly with each one. New matches keep appearing as long as there are recruiters relevant to your profile.
